- In a blender add rice and water, grind it, make a smooth paste.
- Transfer this in a bowl add suji, salt mix well, add water as required to get thick flowing consistency. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Add onion, capsicum, chilli flakes, coriander, black pepper powder, salt to taste (as rice already have salt) and mix well.
- Heat oil in a tadka pan add mustard seeds,(seeds splutters switch off gas) green chilli, curry leaves, mix well
- Pour this temper in suji batter, mix well add baking soda and 1 tbsp water, mix it well.
- Heat appe pan, grease it with oil, pour batter in each cavity, cover with lid, cook for 3 to 4 minutes on low flame.
- After that sprinkle very little oil on them, flip them, cover with lid and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes
- Transfer them on a plate. Leftover rice appe are ready to serve. Serve hot with green chutney.
