- 3-4 beans cut
- 4-5 mushrooms sliced
- 2 Tbsp boiled corns
- 2 Tbsp peas
- 2 Tbsp dark soya sauce
- 1 Tbsp Veg oyster sauce
- 1 tsp Light Soya sauce
- 2 red chilies
- 1 Tbsp cornflour slurry
- as per taste Salt
- 1 ltr veg stock
- as per required Garnish with spring onion greens
Instructions to make to make Chinese Fried Rice
- Boil the rice half done, drain and set aside
- In a bowl add half cooked rice, 2 cups water, salt, star anise, red chilli, oil and on medium flame cook for 3-4 mins, drain and set aside
- In a wok heat oil, add chopped onions, chopped ginger and garlic and red chilies. Cook for 2 mins. Add green chilli paste and stir well.
- Add veg stock, add soya sauce, dark soya sauce, Veg oyster sauce, and mix well. Cook for 4-5 mins covered
- Add carrots, beans, mushrooms, onion cubes, corns, green capsicums, mix well. Add salt
- Add cornflour slurry and cook for 1 mins. Set aside
- Plate on cooked rice and garnish with chopped spring onion greens
